Introduced to complement Keystone Group’s one-stop shop for masonry ancillary products – such as Masonry Support, Lintels and Non-Combustible Cavity Trays (NCCTs) – the new Keyfix range of wall ties and fixings gives specifiers, developers, contractors and installers peace of mind that all the masonry ancillary products for the entire slab edge design have been considered. The range is backed by Keystone’s award-winning delivery service to ensure it will be delivered on time and in full every time.
Keyfix’s range encompasses everything from Masonry to Masonry Cavity Wall Ties, Frame Cramps, Movement Ties and Channel Restraint System, through to Timber Frame Ties, Insulation Retaining Discs and Debonding Sleeves across a wide range of sizes.
Designed to restrain two leaves of a cavity wall, these wall ties support cavity widths up to a maximum overall cavity width of 425mm. Classified as Type 1-4 wall ties in accordance with PD 6697:2019, they are suitable for all building heights and can be used throughout the UK and Ireland. With a maximum overall cavity of 400mm, Keyfix’s Frame Cramp Wall Ties are designed to connect a masonry outer leaf to a concrete or steel inner structure.
A Type 6 Wall Tie in accordance with BS 5268-6.1:1996, the UKCA Accredited Keyfix Timber Frame Wall Tie is manufactured from Grade 304 Austenitic Stainless Steel and suits up to a maximum cavity width of 150mm while accommodating up to 24mm of differential movement.
Meanwhile, the Keyfix 25/14 Channel Restraint System is designed to restrain an external masonry leaf to an internal Steel, Concrete or Timber Frame structure up to a maximum clear cavity width of 259mm and a maximum insulation thickness of 282mm. keyfix.com
