Charlton & Jenrick Ltd (C&J) has announced that Katell Ltd has been acquired by long-time Managing Director Andrew Hurworth in a management buyout.
Over the past 25 years, Katell has become a major supplier to the fireplace industry, specialising in high-quality UK-designed and manufactured electric suites and media walls from its Newton Aycliffe factory. Katell products, including its Suncrest range, are available through specialist retailers nationwide and are specified by major builders and social housing providers.
Hurworth said: “I am very pleased to be able to take on and develop Katell. This gives us a great opportunity to build on our strengths and drive the business forward.”
