BMI UK & Ireland has launched a flat roof materials estimating course as part of its drive to address the roofing industry’s growing skills shortage.
The course aims to tackle the apparent gap in available training for flat roofing professionals in the UK. Combining theoretical and practical learning, it helps attendees gain confidence, avoid common estimation errors and deliver accurate, high-quality project outcomes.
Steven Taylor, Technical Specification Manager at BMI, said: “A common mistake when ordering materials for a flat roofing project is underestimating requirements.
